Any good books, bible studies and other things, that I personally have thought were helpful, I will post here.
As any woman who has done a Beth Moore bible study will tell you, they are amazing. I love her. I not only learn more about my bible and God, but she makes it so applicable. Her studies, hands down, have been the most helpful to me. She is humble - she is open about her weakness and failings so I can relate and her insights into bible verses is just super helpful. There is no phoniness/pious with her, I have a strong "phony" detector!
Don't believe, or are searching/interested?
"mere christianity" by C. S. Lewis (yes that C. S. Lewis!) Not the easiest of reads, but worth it.
"Evidence that demands a verdict" Josh McDowell. He set out to write a college paper, disproving christianity once and for all. But the more evidence he uncovered, the more he found evidence FOR christianity and not against it.

Why do I like Mark Driscoll? He has a unique gift, of sharing the bible in a relatable way, for Christians and for those that have never even read the bible, as well as learning a lot about the bible, historically/background etc.
We had the privilege of going to Mars Hill Church for 2 yrs.
